The JLTV's breif History

The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is a modern military vehicle developed by Oshkosh Defense to replace the aging Humvee in U.S. military service. Introduced in the 2010s, the JLTV was designed for improved protection, mobility, and versatility on the battlefield. It features advanced armor, off-road capability, and modularity for multiple roles, including troop transport, reconnaissance, and heavy weapons support. Officially entering service in 2019, the JLTV represents a new generation of tactical vehicles, combining the survivability of an MRAP with the agility of a light truck.
